This course focuses on providing students with the foundations needed to understand contemporary literature in drug delivery. Concepts in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry needed to understand current problems in drug delivery are emphasized.

Course Objectives

The goal of this course is to give students the ability to understand problems in drug delivery. Emphasis is placed on the design and synthesis of new molecules for drug delivery.

At the completion of this course students should be able to design new molecules to solve drug delivery problems.
